A day in kindergarten
Each lesson has steps to teach. Each module adds worksheets and a quiz, and the timer logs the minutes.
Your state decides how many hours and days you need, which subjects are required and which records to keep. Add each child by first name and grade.
Every grade is a year of modules, two semesters of about 18 weeks. Each module has a lesson for each day, worksheets and a quiz, and each semester ends with a test.
Start the timer when a lesson begins. Enter scores for homework, quizzes and tests. Grade by Grace works out each subject's grade and your hours against your state's rules.
When the year is done, the gradebook gives a final grade and says whether your child is ready to move up. You decide, and next year's plan is ready.
Bible stories and memory verses for the youngest, a survey of the whole Bible in the middle years, and Christian worldview, church history and apologetics in high school. Memory verses are quoted from the King James Version, checked word for word.
Math and English follow the Common Core standards, science follows the Next Generation Science Standards, and social studies is organized around the C3 framework, so your child covers what children in school learn.
High school is a full set of credit courses: four years of English, math through Algebra II and beyond, three lab sciences, history and government, a world language, personal finance, and a transcript with a GPA.
Lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, tests and answer keys print cleanly on letter paper. Many math worksheets have a New problems button for extra practice.
A time log by subject and day, a list of every score, report cards, a high-school transcript, and an hours summary measured against your state's requirement.
Children don't sign in and we only ask for a first name. Download all your records, or delete your account, at any time.
State rules change. Grade by Grace summarizes them to help you keep good records; it is not legal advice. Check your state's law or a homeschool legal association before you rely on it.
